The history of our company has deep roots, beginning in Sardinia, homeland of our family. Our father Salvatore was born and raised in the inland area of Sardinia until 28 years old. Since he was a child he was very passionate about working as a shepherd and about the cheese-making art. Indeed, it was from his father that he learnt this art and every traditional technique.
Towards the end of the ‘50 Salvatore decided to settle in over the hills of Città di Castello, in Umbria, where he bought the current property and expanded it during the years. He got married with Stefania and from their marriage four children were born. Two of them Francesco and Gianluca decided to carry on the family activity with passion and dedication.
That is how we have arrived nowadays at the third generation with the same passion. Over time nothing really changed, same producing system, same animals rearing system and same respect towards nature, in order to give you high quality products with the genuine flavor of an ancient tradition.
